Class Description – Each class is an educational experience that helps to increase body awareness, moving therapeutically to different areas of the body; using flowing sequences, standing poses, seated poses, balances and supported inversions, and coupled with breath awareness to help focus the mind and give a sense of calm and wellbeing. And each class concludes with Guided Relaxation, to complete and complement the practice, allowing stillness in body and mind, to restore and replenish your energy.
A new experience is offered each week – working with the seasons; different parts of the body, eg hips and hamstrings; a restorative practice for body and mind; a calming Yin practice to nourish the bones and joints or Somatic Yoga . to free up tense muscles.
